I just got back to the Big Island to spend a few weeks here helping my Dad and enjoying the country serenity and scenery. We went to a little gem in Hilo town called Nori’s. I had never heard of it but we were all pleasantly surprised!
Nori’s had all kinds of local-japanese specialties. I got the deluxe seafood platter, which included teriyaki ahi, fried ahi, panko-breaded calamari, teriyaki shrimp, and a couple musubis.
Dad and my stepmom shared a ginger pork covered in fresh watercress. It was actually a real treat as well.
U know, I enjoyed going to this place. I don’t usually eat this sort of food and it was a very fun all-hawaiian experience, fun 4 the whole family!
