SUSHI NITE-QUITE A DELIGHT
I got a lot of photos for you 2nite so I hope you’re thankful! It was Tyler’s last night in HI so we decided to celebrate with a nice sushi feast!
We decided to have a traditional Japanese eveninig, making our own sushi. Riceblock Jo(tyler) Put on the finest traditional japanese music to play in the background while he shaped the riceblocks for the nigiri. Meanwhile, we cut the salmin, ahi, tamago and veggis, and then built perfect little Nigiri units and a couple rolls.
As you can see, it was a real blast. Bensan was the leader of sushi constructionbecause he had some experience in the masterful ways of building it. However, I was the leader of devouring, of course.
If you ever are in the mood for some very fine sushi, follow our example and build your own. The cuts of fish you buy from the store are super high quality and you know how fresh the items are. While it may seem to be a little expensive (all our our items cost $40 total) it’s much cheaper than 4 or 5 people going out to a sushi place. And it was so much more pleasurable!
Please enjoy these photos. I hope you forgive me for adding so many, but it was truly a terrific night!
