The other night Dad and Karen hosted a feast for one of their friends, Heather. I was lucky enough to be invited.
Dad grilled out a nice steak piece and a bunch of chicken pieces, marinated in his homemade specialty sauce. I still don’t know how he builds it but it has a real nice, slightly spicy flavour.
Karen made the veggi kababs, which were a real treat. I always like the mushrooms the best.
One of the finest things though, was the simple but very fine desert. Fresh cut pinapple, chilled 2 perfections. U know, when u pick it at the right time, it’s super soft and really melts in your mouth. Also the sweetness level is through the roof. BTW, for my mainland fans, fresh pinapple tastes nothing like canned pinapple.
Also, Karen made some homemade chocolate with peanutbutter topping. It has no added sugar and is kinda bitter, but really elegant.
Boy, Laups has some of the finest foods I’ve ever experienced!
